Registered Nurse (PT Day STC)
Description:
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for psychiatric patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for the State of New Jersey and the policies and procedures of the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center.
All methods of practice shall conform to written hospital policies and procedures and be carried out to the highest achievable level of competence in a manner demonstrating concern and consideration.
The Registered Nurse will demonstrate Barnabas' philosophy to Total Quality Management by actively applying that philosophy in all dealings with both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Must be licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum two (2) years experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
One (1) year in experience in a psychiatric/chemical dependency field preferred.
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
