1K a year COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Part Time Day Administrative Coordinator! Community Medical Center, an affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care.
Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with three residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
In this key role, the Administrative Coordinator provides for accuracy of insurance authorization and precertification for Outpatient Infusion.
This individual will prepare and review all patient charges for billing as well as assure the accuracy of billing to include ICD-9 codes and related information for departmental records.
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for auditing all charts for accuracy of billing data and documentation Additional requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.
Previous office experience mandatory.
Successful completion of all orientation programs.
Certificate in claims and billing preferred.
