Job Description:
This position is designed to work closely with the site supervisor in performing all aspects of management including administrative and financial duties.
This ideal candidate will maintain accurate records for each customer.
As a manager you will be the responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility.
Also, you will need to understand and comply with self-storage lien laws and standards.
Schedule 5 days a week - 9am-6pm Saturday Availability is Required Responsibilities and Duties Maintain monthly up-to-date knowledge of market and competitive properties Oversee contractors and/or third-party vendors work Become proficient at management software and gate access systems Conduct auctions and keep auction documentation organized and accurate, following company delinquency checklist and set guidelines Assist in basic audits Monitor security system Distribute non-payment notices to all delinquent customers and complete follow-up activity regarding non-payment of rent or eviction proceedings Perform daily functions of operating a self-storage facility Maintain facility cleanliness and proactively cleans units, hallways, bathrooms, and general areas of the site Rent units to new customers as well as show units, complete rental paperwork, and collect rent/fees, post payments Participate in collecting past due accounts properly Handle multi-channel inquires and share information to new and existing clients with top-of-the-line customer service Assist in the processing, monitoring, and ordering of office, maintenance, and retail supplies Attend and participate in training classes and seminars as requested Maintain open communication with staff and site supervisor Make bank deposits, go to the post office, and run other errands as needed (Mileage will be reimbursed) Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver's license and working transportation required Office skills including organizational skills, writing, basic math, and computer skills required Excellent communication skills with great decision-making ability Strong customer service skills, orientation, and professional image Benefits 100% employer paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401k match after one year of employment 12 vacation days per year 6 sick days per year Referral program Monthly and annual bonus opportunities based on rental and sale call evaluations Discount on storage unit Tuition reimbursement opportunities Amazing Growth opportunities Mileage reimbursement Job Type:
