Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.
In this role, the Communications Operator is responsible for two facilities:
Community Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
answering incoming calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments, assisting with outgoing calls, providing information, making overhead announcements, following procedures for emergency alerts.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule posted in advance 40 hours per bi-weekly pay period Must be willing to work a variety of shifts including day/evening/overnight Weekend rotation Holiday rotation Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Telephone operator experience helpful but not necessary Customer service experience preferred Command of the English language Ability to operate a PC proficiently Bilingual a plus Candidate must be available to work all shifts including overnight, weekend and holiday rotation.
